    This is our annual event, which will bring together stakeholders, partners, associates, people living with dementia and family carers to showcase the work of Dementia Pathfinders over the past year and to celebrate our achievements.


    Features of the presentation event include:

    • Playwright Brian Daniels interviewing Rachael Dixey about her newly published book 'Our Dementia Diary: Irene, Alzheimer's and Me' (Medina Publishers 2016 https://medinapublishing.com/)
    • Dr Beatrice Allegranti (http://www.beatriceallegranti.com/), Reader in Dance Movement Psychotherapy at University of Roehampton introducing the screening of the short film 'I Can't Find Myself' (www.dontleavemenow.co.uk).
    • Dr Jill Rasmussen, Clinical Lead for the Royal College of General Practitioners, speaking about the Dementia Roadmap.
    • Launch of evaluation report of the pioneering dance and dementia project 'Dance for Life. presented by Dr Edana Minghella.
    • Presentation of the Margaret Butterworth Awards 2016 for excellence in dementia care.
    • Dance for Life' demonstration by dancers from Matthew Bourne's New Adventures and Re:Bourne.
    • Dementia Conversations' - reaching out to people in communities and giving space and airtime to people's concerns and experiences. Presented by Professor David Jolley and Stephen Walker
